I love it so far! It's a well built rig!

5/5 stars, a 6/5 if there were a 12 inch version ("Stickybones Deluxe"?) that could fit like, Barbie/Ken clothes, ha ha. The material has a heft for its size that is substantial. The plastic for the body is matte, smooth the touch, but has the slightess bit of texture/give that allows the joints to have a bit more grip to hold a pose. Think a really hard silicon. The default hands are the more traditional "harder"/ "shiny" plastic, and the tiny finger joints tend to pop off as easily as they pop on for it, but since there are finger joint replacements as well posed, solid plastic hand "kits" it's all but a non issue, really. The figures are easy to put together mechanically (the most difficult pieces the assemble are the feet, as they are the smallest joints that have that "give" factor and there are two lined side by side), as well as easy to understand instructions. The suggested instruction video explaining the orientation of the pieces/techniques for assembly makes it a breeze. The figures hold their poses, and can hold their own weight and then some. Even an amateur such as myself can create fun, expressive poses with them. As mentioned half jokingly at the beginning of this review, a 11.5 inch or 12 inch version of the figure would only amplify the strengths of Stickybones, but I understand keeping with the one, standard size they started out with. Well done, Stickybones crew.

Great poses! Even used it for a project in school.

It's very well made and the joints offer a wide range of motion, the hands are also expressive but I've noticed the tips tend to fall off. Also, the parts aren't labeled. Overall a 10/10 I've enjoyed it and it's made my projects more streamlined, I hope you guys release one with a feminine physique, don't know how'd that be, but anyways love the product.

It’s a great visual tool for artists. Would highly recommend to any artists who want to get better at figure drawing.

I bought this for my son who is an artist with emphasis on sculpting who works in Hollywood. I thought it was pretty pricey but decided it was a good choice after all when I saw his reaction. He knew about stickybones and was delighted to get the figure, having chosen a cheaper product first and been disappointed. He loves this stickybones man for the fine flexibility it has. He says it will save him all kinds of time in testing out posing ideas and for getting proportions accurate! We're very happy with it! I've also purchased 3 more figures for my 3 grandsons who are into animation. They had been dreaming of having stickybones figures. It'll be a fun Christmas for them!

Bought as a gift for my husband and it was very easy and quick to put together and super fun to pose. Now I want more to create stop motion shorts!

Bought this after seeing a couple videos on youtube. Blown away by the articulation and high quality build. Learning how to do stop motion and this is the best figure out there.

It'll definitely take some time to get used to posing it, but it's great! Very articulate indeed. The fly-rig is pretty useful too. Hope to get a lot of mileage with the figure.

I just started using this figure recently and I’m absolutely IN LOVE with it. I’ve never had such an articulate figure with adjustable fingers. It makes it so much easier for me to make my own poses instead of hoping I find a good enough reference for the angle I’m trying to do. This is one of my best purchases in a LONG time

I saw StickyBones on Instagram. It was a Friday and also a holiday weekend. I ordered. 3 days later my new best friend showed up. He was very easy to assemble and I have been drawing him non-stop since. I can see my art changing. Thank you very much.

Loved it the second I saw it. Can be moved around to any pose you can think of, it is my first posting figure and I am going to try to get into stop motion. There was great customer service. I wasn’t sure about the price, but when I got it I knew it was worth every penny.

I was surprised by the quick replies and transparency about the Glacier Blue pre order delay, and even MORE surprised when I got the email about changing the color for no extra charge. I don’t even remember how I came across Stickybones, but this is my first one and I love it SOOO MUCH!!! I bought fabric to make clothing for it so i can take pictures of it. The figure arrived Wednesday and I’ve been waiting for this long weekend JUST to mess around with it without having the worry about school!

This is my 3rd Stickybones figure. In my opinion these are the best posable figures for drawing/animation reference on the market. I use them for working out action sequences to checking dynamic poses. Highly recommended.

Super cool action figure/drawing model. Didn’t think a figure would match or surpass my 1000toys Synthetic Human 1/12 figures, but Stickybones does! Ease of poseability and greater size makes Stickybones my new favorite figure. Super recommended for those who want ACTION in their figures.

They said it was posable, and it really is. The best part is, with the magnetic base and the tight joints, it holds a pose. The only issue I have is that the fingers sometimes detach when I pose them, but they’re so tiny, it’s excusable.

Very flexible and way better than anything else I would find on Amazon for anatomy! I was so excited when I received it and noticed how it had really good joint connections and ligaments. I also liked how spine design had more body language poses! The gesture options are very accurate and expressive!

Am n love, i got the white and the blue one, can wait to get yellow one. And the rest of then. I will definitely collect then all.

I bought it for a drawing model, not stop motion, and I am very satisfied with the very flexible pose and the strength of the magnet.

I’m so in love with these figures! This is my second figure only about a week after my first purchase. I named this one Casper. He’s so cool and the experience with them feels a lot better then just having a wooden doll. My husband himself said why not get a wooden one. And I replied because I’m not going to buy a dozen wooden ones and come on they have magnets in them lol. Once they arrived and I set them up my same husband stated “ok babe you got me these are pretty cool and I see why they cost as much” . I love how well light and shadow show up on this shade of white. For some reason I could never grasp the concept of drawing light and shadow and now it makes so much more sense. Job well done guys ✨

Not since the invention of penicillin has humanity taken such a step forward as a species. There are some who say world peace is naive, to them I say, nay. The fact that we as an evolved creature have the capacity to create such figures throws all critiques of Capitalism the wayside. Basically, the figure is pretty neat and I like it a bunch.

Really enjoying this figure so far! I wanted to try an upgrade from an old BodyKun figure and while there is less muscular detail on Stickybones they are MUCH more posable and have VERY tight joints to hold any pose. The Feet magnets are a nice touch as well, you can pull off one foot poses without issue.

I was at first reluctant about the purchase as I am a student and my budget is limited, but the product did not dissapoint. It was one of the fastest deliveries from USA to Europe I have ever experienced, I was honestly shocked at how fast it came. The product its self is wonderful, the amount of possibilities of posing is endless.

This review is hard to put into words. It’s whimsical meets crash dummy. It’s possibility meets durability. The magnetic components located in the hands and feet is one giant posable finger to you gravity. Never again shall our models fall, never again shall the unannounced vibrations from our pets and children bring down our beloved poses. With such a sleek design, Maverick could break Mach 11. This is my first sticky bones and I hope it isn’t my last. Do I need every single color available? Absolutely not. But do I want every single color? You bet your bones I do.

This is by far the best articulated figure I have ever held. Let’s not forget how well it feels and is also the sturdiest. This is something every artist should have. I love collecting action figures but also have a love for stop motion and this is a figure that made even animating easier. It’s taking my understanding of movement ahead by months within the first use. I absolutely love sticky bones and the customer service is by far the best in the business! If you are hesitant on getting one because of the price; I will say it is worth every penny. Trust me and the reviews ^^

Its Cool!

I love the model!! Very strong material which can hold the gesture in the ways I expected. However, just the supporter for the back isn’t really flexible. Hopefully stickybones will create a better solution in future. Thanks!

It's a huge step up from a wooden mannikin.

Absolutely LOVE IT! Well made, sturdy, and most of all functional! Assembly was extremely easy as well. I should’ve ordered two because I can see my daughter swiping mine. Hopefully a female version comes out in the near future. I honestly can’t say enough about this product! Two thumbs WAY UP!

If you are undecided, buy this mannequin! It is incredibly posable and sturdy. Also, when you get it in position it looks exactly like a (generally rascally) person would. Best art purchase I have made.
