Give your Stickybones a spooky movie makeover. Recreate a favorite character, invent your own retro nightmare, or bring another Halloween costume idea to life. Show off your costume in a photo or stop-motion animation.

Does my costume have to come from an ’80s or ’90s movie?

No. That’s our inspiration for this year, but original characters and other Halloween costume ideas are welcome.

Can I enter from outside the United States?

Yes! Spookybones is open internationally.

Can I use other figures?

Stickybones must be the featured characters. Other brands’ human figures are not eligible. Props, scenery, and costume materials are welcome.

Do I need a gold Stickybones to enter?

No. Use any Stickybones color you already have.

Do costumes have to be handmade?

Costumes can be sewn, sculpted, built, or assembled from found objects and everyday materials. We welcome creative approaches and imaginative details.

Do I need an elaborate setup?

No. A simple costume and a thoughtful photo can make a memorable entry.
