It came in good time and all the bits are here, even an extra finger. I needed help jamming joints together as they must be tight to keep the joints tight for posing and my fingers were not up to the challenge. And now I can play with it! It poses beautifully and gracefully, making even small movements, like just sitting, seem very natural. Stickybones guys have presence and gravitas. They are not like the graceless wooden mannequins I have used in the past. Thanks for inventing them--it is clear that a lot of thought went into them.

My only two peeves are that the heel and toe parts of the foot are very hard to assemble without risking breakage and that the neck bone is slightly oddly placed.

What a high quality product. It’s a real game changer for a new artist such as myself.
As I’m learning about gestures and dynamic poses it can be challenging to come up with new poses without using reference photos. Not that there’s anything wrong with reference photos. But sometimes you want a specific pose and would rather not search through tons of photos to find something that either fits the bill or something that closely resembles the pose.
Stickybones works great and was easy to assemble. I also purchased the Fly Rig for dynamic poses captured while in the air.
Overall, I’m very impressed and will purchase additional products from the folks at Stickybones again in the near future.
A final note. I purchased the product on Tuesday with express shipping and had Stickybones in my hand on Saturday. I had initially sent a message inquiring about processing times and had received the order by the time they replied. I really can’t complain. Very fast, very cool.

The figure is super-posable, which is just what I needed as reference. Seems very sturdy, and the joints stay put once in position. The fly rig holds the figure firmly in the most extreme of poses. My fly rig was missing a piece when I received it, but the Stickybones customer service folks were right on it, and sent me the missing piece right away. Couldn't be more pleased with the product and the staff.

This is the best art/stop motion figure I ever had. I bought it originally for sketching but I decided to get back to stop motion after doing it as a child. It actually moves like a person easily. Shipped on time and arrived on time. The toes were really tough to seat properly but the rest of the assembly was easy and intuitive. Unfortunately I only had one day to play with them before having to leave them at home to go away on a trip. I paid like 250 for 2 models and 2 flying pose sticks. Expensive but totally worth the dough.

10/10 will absolutely buy from here again. My son is 8 and new to stop motion so this was an introductory figure. It’s great quality and he has enjoyed using it for stop motion and as an action figure. The only thing we have trouble with is the joints are a little stiff so it can be hard to make tiny movements without moving the whole figure. But we are very new to this art form and don’t know what we are doing. Plus, I think it will loosen up the more we play with it.

Recommend the parts that are not interchangeable be marked w R and L to make assembly easier as I’ve found multiple errors because it’s not clear what goes where in the video. The video needs to show the parts much closer that he’s trying to explain.
