I love how it poses and it’s super easy to animate with. However one of the fingers were a bit loose but I used one of the extras that was included in the box. Just a thought but a case to carry it in would be pretty nice since you can’t really bring it around easily. But it’s been a blast to use it’s super easy to move and the magnets are super strong.

Hi, I tried some manikins in the past but really non like sticky bones. These things are built to last and can be used as art figures or stop motion projects. I am really loving it so far and can't get enough of it! Many ideas made simple with this marvellous invention.

I was really skeptical about buying stickybones for $100. When it came I was impressed with the material and what animations my son and daughter can do with it!

The figure was a tiny bit difficult for me to put together, but that’s just because I have weak hands. So if you have a pair of pliers on hand, it makes it much easier to pop sockets into place. I love that it’s fully articulated and I don’t have to search online for ages to try and find the pose I have in mind. I can already tell it’s going to help a ton with drawing poses.

I was a little concerned about the size and was not sure about how tricky would be to assemble. I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to put everything together in a few minutes. The magnets are pretty strong! I may need to purchase the hand pack because I’m a bit of a klutz, and I might lose a finger too down the line. I had my heart set on getting the red figure but unfortunately it’s sold out too quick. But I’m equally please with the choices I did receive. They seem pretty sturdy material and there’s no end to posing. I would love to see a 12 or 15 inch model released for the anniversary of the company hint hint! Excellent job!

I’m a webcomic creator, and sometimes I need reference for a scene. Pictures online and real life can only get you so far. I also needed something capable of dynamic poses. All that led me to purchase this product. It’s well made, sturdy, and has been a great help thus far. I’ve highly recommend StickyBones to my artist friends, and I would to anyone else interested.

I love this little thing. I’ve been hesitant to get a pose-able figure for a while because I’ve worried that they wouldn’t be helpful or would break. I decided to take a chance on this one after seeing reviews and photos and don’t regret it one bit. The ways you can pose this little guy are infinite it seems. And the magnets that allow it to stick to metal surfaces are strong. Mine came with an extra fingertip instead of the required amount of finger bases, but a quick chat with Lauren resulted in the error getting remedied easily. So it’s good to know the customer service quality is there as well. Honestly I may get another. I recommend it!

This is my second Stickybones product purchased, in order to have somebody to take company to my blue one. This colorway is dark and discret, and will be a perfect candidate to any customized clothes made of fabrics. I can't wait to animate them together because the quality of the parts & the joints is above what you can imagine. Basically, I'm not seeing any limit for stop motion using such products. I'm now a huge fan of Stickybones products and I will thank forever my stop motion sensei Shinohara "Animist" Kenta for making me discovered your products guys because of his cool animations made with them !

I discovered Stickybones products thanks to my sensei Shinohara "Animist" Kenta promoting them in a serie of very funny videos. I'm really impressed by what I have in hands. I was expecting action figures that would be ideal for stop motion but damn, this is beyond my expectations. They are light and heavy enough at the same time, the green screen rig and the magnetized plate are perfect teamates to handle the work while shooting and the figures are capable of any human poses, no matter what you try to do, Stickybones guys gonna reproduce exactly what you have in mind. Great job team, I only want to spend all my free and pro time to animate them now !

This figure is super posable and has amazing articulation, the building instructions were pretty simple to follow and the figure itself is really good quality. Overall I'm really happy with this figure and the stand as well.

It's a great figure the texture on the figure just feels so smooth and comfortable the figure has great articulation and holds its position really well and one thing that made want to get this figure in the first place was because of the articulated fingers and over all a great figure I do recommend getting sticky bones because it's one of the greatest figures out there

The figure was really easy to assemble and offered great articulation and strength with many different poses.

This is not an attack of any sort, I love the flexibility of the product and it is serving its purpose. I think my biggest gripe/misconception was thinking that all the other joints were magnetically attached or reinforced behind the plastic. I bought this figure to use on the go, the ability to pop it in my bag and use whenever. However, with a bump or two the joints especially can pop off. I’m rectifying that by keeping it in a small drawstring pouch to keep all the pieces in one place but it would be cool to see more reinforcement on the joints for future models. Maybe small notches on the inside of the joint sockets and notches on the outside of balls of the attachments. Thanks!

The joint connections are very strong and easy to maneuver in every position you want it. A very well constructed product.

I’ve been experimenting with my Stickybones since it arrived the other day, and man I could not recommend this figure more! They shipped extremely fast on standard mail with no damages and they even included a shiny sticker with the package (always a plus). The figure is made of a very durable and comfortable material that is easy to work with, and the metal plate isn’t bendy and holds the figure well! The ball-and-socket joints are very easy to move and have a wide range of motion, making a variety of poses accessible! The feet stick to the magnetic plate really well, holding the figure and keeping it grounded nicely. The Fly Rig is very easy to use, utilizing only ball and socket joints as well as the magnet that can stick to the magnetic base from the figure. Posing with the rig is easy as well, and it holds the figure easily. While the rig does stick to the magnetic base, it can move around, so make sure the base is secured if you’re going to do something that requires movement. Overall, a quality product that delivers what it offers and will def be keeping my eyes on this company for future Stickybones products!

These figures are great there extremely flexible and the magnets hold really well! The fly-rig works great also. Id recommend it to anyone looking for a pose figure for drawing. The only problem ive had was putting the feet together its a little difficult to snap them together.

Great build quality, VERY stable joints if you’re looking for a simple stop motion figure! I’ve been using it as reference for CGI animation character poses, because sometimes it helps to have something practical when dealing with something virtual. Great figure for animation artists of all kinds.

I'm so glad I stumbled onto this during the best sale of the year!! It's a great size. The material feels so nice, the structure is super high quality. Every joint is expressive, yet stable. The aero-rig is ingeniously made. The plate is stable enough that my cat can't knock it off the desk. Most of all, the snap-together parts are a HUGE win for me. My character has a missing limb and it's been IMPOSSIBLE to find reference photos or poseable dolls that could properly convey what that weight distribution does to the body. The balanced proportions and general neutrality of the build also allows me to use this for my male and female characters. I'd love there to be a more feminine/slender body type, because the femme models on the market are just...yeah, don't get me started. Then this lil' one gets a buddy and can serve as my other, actual acrobatic character full-time. :) Thanks for making such a killer product and making it accessible to beginners with your summer sale! <3

They weren't kidding when they said these are extremely posable, they are! And they also hold a pose extremely well, gravity barely has any effect on these stickybros

Joints have great tension, hold poses really well against gravity. Also magnetic feet have holes for nails when magnetic plate isn’t possible. Model design is a great mix of crash test dummy and anatomical model, catches dramatic light beautifully on set.

Amazing quality, super easy assembly thanks to the instructional video, very soft and easy to pose. The plastic feel tough enough to last a really long time, but allows it to be super light weight for fun rigging poses. As a stop motion animator having an available puppet to practice with is vital and with my extremely poseable and durable Stickeybones figure I can easily set up my camera and immediately start shooting. It's liberating.

It's perfect! Exactly what I want

I was really excited to finally get one of these poseable figures after seeing ads in Instagram. The price was a little discouraging at first but once I got my hands on one, it made sense. My initial reasoning for purchasing a Stickybones figure was to help aide in drawing the human body in dynamic poses that I didn't immediately have reference to. But now I'm interested in basic stop motion animation. Funny how that works. Assembly is straight forward and simple. The quality and posability of this figure is significantly better than other offerings on the market. All while supporting a US based company. What's not to like? In closing I'm quite happy with my initial purchase. So much I purchased another and may eventually purchase all color offerings. Did I mention they're great for displaying? Nonetheless, I look forward to see where the Stickybones company and line of products go from this point on.

Saw this item about 2yrs ago and always wanted one. When it came I was like WOW! I did not expect it to be this large! So far, I absolutely love it!

Absolutely love my stickybones, so much so I bought a second one. Had to wait till they had sales though. I have been eyeing them for a long while and finally got some. The hardest part for me to get together were the deer joints, but after the frustration passed, all good. My wife even bought the hand pa is for me as a gift. Love these!

I think it’s a fun tool. I am not an expert at using figurines for references, but I already see a lot of potential. It’s a way better option than other figures you could buy and it offers a wide range of possible poses! I think some kind of probs, like swords, guns or armour might be a cool addition in the future

My StickyBones came quickly and assembling was fun. They move well and I'm glad I purchased the rig so I can move them even more!

So far, I'm very impressed with its ability to hold positions and at the same time the ease of getting into those positions. I also love the design decisions on things like proportions, and range of movement. plenty of room to get the right attitude to convey those tricky body language subtleties for, in my case. comics. Thanks for the great product. Would have loved to have this 15 years ago.

this is my second review but the difference is that i bought the solare flare figure with the rig bundle to help in posing the figure when flying or jumping only regrets is that i should have ordered the hand bundle A when it was in discount . i am still amazed on how poseable they are and the fact they look extremly good great quality wish i knew about them a few years ago would have bought all 4 colors of them thogh i have two white and solare flare version . buy them and make sure you buy the extra hands

There really isn't much to say. You purchase this little completely malleable/flexible person. It's just cool & fun.

I am really enjoying my sticky bones. It is extremely fun to pose. I cannot wait to utilize it for my drawings. I may try animating it. As mentioned in almost every review, the articulation for the joints is amazing. The overall figure is solid and durable. This will definitely last a while. Hopefully for years to come. The only reason for not giving it 5 starts is I wish the joints for the fingers wouldn't pop off so easily. I wish they were as tight as the other joints in the body. Highly recommended for any artists in the industry or hobbyists.

As an artist, I’ve tried various tools to help with creating. I’ve purchased several mannequins from competitors and they have never managed to impress me as much as my purchase from Stickybones. I am very pleased to have discovered Stickybones. From the moment my purchase arrived, I was impressed by the quality. Stickybones are solid and hold their form and positions with ease. You don’t have to worry an arm or leg will fall off from just a simple pose (like the competition). Stickybones don’t feel cheap and they simply just work as desired. Although I purchased Stickybones as mostly a reference model for my drawings, the ease of use, and impressive quality has inspired me to consider trying some stop motion as well. As for customer service, my purchase arrived several days earlier than expected, and when I noticed I was missing a small piece having been sent a duplicate part in error, I wrote the company, and they wasted no time immediately shipping me out the missing piece without hesitation and at no cost to me. It even arrived in less than two days. I look forward to a future purchase from Stickybones. They have won me over as a customer.

The figure is such high quality and so much fun to pose. Unfortunately mine arrived with two right thighs, so I contacted support and they replied within a couple hours and made sure a replacement was on its way ASAP. Great company all around!

Bought this for my brother. The quality is top notch and is as good as advertised. It assembled relatively easily and each part and joint was very clean. We did get sent duplicate thighs but when we reached out to customer service they corrected immediately. Very very happy with the purchase.

Assembly was easier than expected, although some parts required a lot of force. It can be posed in more ways than I had imagined, and it is fun just to move it around.

I was a little surprised by how small the box was, I somehow missed it needed to be assembled and initially worried it might be too small. It's not. This is exactly what I've been looking for to set dynamic poses. Very pleased with this, it's already been very helpful.
