The fly rig is great! The magnets are strong and reliable. With a pegboard setup, and some roto brushing I can make my figures look like they’re flying or floating.

My son likes the rig but it’s hard to balance without the magnetic plate. We substituted metal pan instead. He said he’s not a fan of the extra hands because they don’t articulate.

It’s amazing that you contacted me after I sent you two emails with a problem and have had no resolution. I received this item with no instructions, no picture, or anything that describes it and how it combines with the figure I purchased from your company. I simply received a plastic bag with black pieces. Your customer service response was they would bring “packaging” to the “team” GOING FORWARD. How does that help me? It’s clear that you are not standing behind your product, and I would not recommend this company to anyone!.

The stickybones is very good. It’s really flexible overall and the limbs only pop off if you pull them into unnatural stances. It’s really fun and the magnets make it even better. The foot magnets are really strong so you can do lots of things with them. The hand magnets are a bit weaker, but as long as you balance moderately well, it looks really cool and is stable. The only con I would say is that the fingers can come off a little bit too easily. You have to make sure that they don't get bent sideways or they will pop out. Overall I would recommend it and I've had lots of fun with it.

This has passed mere obsession and is fast entering the territory of personality disorder.
They are so useful for fast composition. I use them to comp my action pictures. So versatile. I can experiment with pose, angles, lighting, super quick, and then take a photo and boom! I have my base reference to block out my picture. It’s a joy.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Poseable in any way a human can move. Robust build. And the little touches, the planes of the face are good enough to form the basis of your underpainting and blocking in.
Buy one. I will be VERY a surprised if you don’t buy at least one more.

Love it! It’s actually bigger than I expected (a good thing). Now I only wish you started releasing props for it! (Guns and weapons). I’m a 3d artist and besides sketching I’ll use this for figuring out poses for my models quickly before committing to a pose in 3d (which is way harder/more time consuming to do). That said even more uses for this then I was expecting. Also added benefit of supporting a small business. Thrilled with my purchase!

This fly rig is absolutely amazing. Definitely the best figure stand on the market. It stays absolutely solid no matter how far I extend it outwards from the base, it has a rigid flexibility to it that bends and moves back to position if you need to get around under or above your figure while taking photos and not moving it out of position. the magnets in the base are extremely solid and extremely strong, so sticking to metal objects is a breeze. I like the dynamic bending and choice to add or remove joints for any mid-air pose you can think of. The magnetic base helps a ton to make some very unbalanced poses super easy to maintain!

The Fly Rig is a great accessory for StickyBones. It allows a lot of great possibilities for dynamic poses and when attached to the metal plate the StickyBones comes with it's very stable. The Fly Rig holds the pose very well without drooping. I like the dark gray color because it blends in well with dark backgrounds and even in the light it doesn't distract from the figure. This the second one I bought, now I have one for each of my StickyBones which will be great for creating poses for my comic book.

It´s to short, should be longer and more sturdy. I´ve already noticed that it is having problem to hold the weight of the figure. Quite funny actually, the joints of the figure is quite stiff for tiny movements and the rig is to loose.

I got a figure and a fly rig to help illustrate difficult poses for my comic book characters, and is easily making its way into my top 3 favorite art supplies.
The uses for this product are limitless and allow you to freely play around with interesting poses for your characters without all the erasing and redrawing. Definitely getting more, and definitely recommending.

The Fly-Rig 2.0 is a great addition to Stickybones. It allows for posing the figure in those action poses that would otherwise be impossible. In order to really work well it needs to be attached to the metal plate that comes with the Stickybones figure, but as long as you have a Stickybones figure, you should already have that. Overall, great addition to an already great figure.
