So much better than any previous models I've had. I've been recommending them to others on more than one occasion. The magnets and steady joints of the figures make all the difference. Especially useful as a pair.

Well, i havent run into any issues yet, but it is everything i imagined it would be. I have just one request, that the magnets for what is supposed to be his toes be strengthened so he can lean far forward while standing on one foot's toes. Is it incredibly niche? Yes. But hey, youre the one wasting your time on an internet review. Overall, 9.9 out of ten, would reccommend.

The figure and posenado were ordered concurrently; however, the latter has not yet been released. Despite this, the figure exceeded expectations. Although larger than other figures in my collection, it is still a valuable addition.

I bought this item for my 13 year old son and he loves it! So many option with the magnetic hands and feet. Also the fact that the fingers move independently, was a big deal for him. He has so much fun make videos. Great product!

This is the hardest review I've ever had to do, because this product is simply incredible, from its assembly, which is very easy, to creating poses. This was everything I needed to start making my stopmotion animations. The only problem is that its price is not very affordable for everyone, and it is even more inaccessible because it has to be shipped to Europe, the shipping cost is a bad factor. But the product is of extreme quality, highly recommended.

This thing is awesome! It's everything I've ever wanted from an art mannequin. My girlfriend bought a second one after using mine so we can get multi-person poses

I like it. I now see I need some more accessories to get better use out of it but for pose-ability it's fantastic. I like the flexibility of the figure. I got the Solar Flare color because it's closer to skin tone... sortof...... now, if the Super Geniuses at Sticky Bones could make a figure that's a medium grey...... that would be nice. Or a head with a face on it? It seemed the joints are very robust. I was worried I would push too hard to snap in pieces but, no, they all went in.... eventually with no breaks.

Amazing bright colours. Definitely has crash test dummy vibes, lol. My first two stickybones are the plain black + plain white ones. Initially I didn't like the idea of the bicolor stickybones as I thought the colours would be distracting and make the figure look too much like a robot / mech character and not a person. HOWEVER, I actually realised that for practice animation, the different colour in the joints is incredibly helpful to keep track of the motion / perspective. In Dragonframe sometimes it can be super difficult to see which joint has moved or whether shoulders have rotated, rolled forward etc. But with bicolor joints, it's much easier to follow and track this more precisely. So as a practice animation puppet, for technical animations that can be analysed + deconstructed afterwards, I would recommend Bicolor flare strongly. The contrast of the yellow/black looks great on camera and stands out nicely against white backgrounds. I still prefer the plain ones for sketching as it helps see the way that the light casts on the model. I think Stickybones is missing a trick slightly for a single color neutral tone figure (maybe gray, blue or tan) that emphasises the shadows for drawing.

Good figures, its been fun posing them and making references.

My nephew has been wanting one for a while so I got him one for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. He has made little videos with it and has been playing with it non stop.

I'm really impressed with this thing! I've wanted a better artist's model for YEARS and was so thrilled when Stickybones went on sale recently. The joints are tough, the magnets are strong, and assembly was easy (especially if you played with Bionicles as a kid :) ). I'm interested in getting another one for combat poses! It would be really cool if a shorter or taller variation was available to model variation in body size with interacting figures.

Arrived on time, very high quality figure. Holds poses well and has been durable so far and very helpful with drawing projects. The metal plate stand scratched up my desk a bit though.

I Bought The Blizzard One But It Only Gave me This One. The Yellow One. Besides That, I Loved It! The Magnets We're Very Strong And Reliable! It Was Super Easy To Animate With! The Joints Are Very Sturdy.

Fast delivery! Had it in 5 days! I didn't care for the length of the shoulder connection from the chest to the upper arm. I think it's a little too long. The fingers/knuckles are small, but they give you a few extra! The fit was excellent. In my pics, it sits on a 1/8 Venom GPV1 RC bike. Highly recommended.

I've only had the figure for a day now but I can already tell it is going to help me so much with my art. I am a sculptor and sometimes figuring out poses or looking up reference photos can be tedious. With this I can pose a figure exactly the way I picture it in my head. I can sketch out a concept drawing and (a big thing for me since I work in 3d) I can view the pose from all angles! This is going to be a game changer!

Quality posable figure and much easier to achieve poses previously not possible with wooden figures. Figure assembly can be intimidating and would have hoped for a more evenly paced assembly video with more closeups, the ankles and thumbs are areas needing greater focus. Once assembled its up to user to get the correct positioning thru self education. The figure has great capability and its really up to your imagination. Only other suggestions would be to have the finger joints also be two-tone colors tomhelp with visualization and also to have a figure with a full hand. As for price vs. value the value is there for the serious artist.

I am very happy with my Solar Flare Stickybones! I had been searching for a poseable figure to use as a drawing reference, and Stickybones has gone above and beyond my expectations. To begin, I feel like I can safely say there is no other articulated figure on the market quite like Stickybones. This figure offers a high range of realistic, expressive motion, is easy to handle, and has firm joints that allow it to hold any variety of interesting, dynamic poses. The magnetized hands and feet (in addition to allowing it to perform various poses) are great for making the figure hold magnetized props. The figure also has a good weight to it, and the material feels solid and durable. Just from holding it, you can tell that the figure is absolutely worth the money with how high quality it is. While I cannot personally speak for the other colour options, I love the Solar Flare colour – especially for drawing purposes. The yellow is light enough that it is easy to tell where shadows fall on the figure, but dark enough that you can also see where the highlights are. Beyond that, it's a very vibrant and fun colour that is just incredibly pleasing to look at! In addition to the quality of the figure itself, I was very impressed by the customer service of the Stickybones team. When I contacted them via email with a question about my order they were very friendly and quick to respond. All in all, this was a phenomenal purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, poseable figure!

Very fun to pose! Love the colors! However! Feet joints were extremely difficult to put together, but eventually got it together using a tool.

Just got it but I can easily see the potential with this figure. It is a little too stiff so far in some joints so I have to brake these in. But what a figure it is !!!!

These are my first figures of this kind, and I bought two because I wanted to create grappling / mma positions. It can do striking poses fully, and I was able to create any striking pose I wanted in full detail. I wasn't able to get all the grappling poses I wanted to full detail (humans have soft parts that aren't easily recreated by hard figures), but I was able to get quite far with the poses I tried. I'm impressed by what I was able to achieve with these figures. The figures make it easy to apply my imagination / creativity when I think of a scene or pose. I can see how they'd be useful for practicing figure drawing. I appreciate the engineering that went into achieving different levels of stiffness in different joints, the strength of the magnets to hold poses yet don't get sucked into each other too easily, and the pose-ability of the fingers that is huge for expression. Maybe most importantly, I found they're a joy to pose, with their simplicity, range of motion, and potential for expression. I've had a lot of fun creating different poses / scenes, far outside what I originally bought them for!

The StickyBones animation figure is the best I have ever encountered. There are so many poses and movement stances and coupled with the magnets and stands you can accomplish a great deal.

I love the sticky bones figures dark frost and solar flare. They are so cool and look best when on the stands. I would like to have some magnetic accessories such as hats or things to hold in their hands to spice it up. Thank you StickyBones! Great product!

The high vis and high contrast of this manikin allows an easy read of the form and flow of the figure. I would recommend a pair of manikins and flying arms tovallow for a near infinitexseries of poses.

Stickybones looks like a robot to me, and I love robot action figures. This thing is incredibly poseable, more-so than any other figure I've seen. The joints are tight and hold poses well. The magnets are also really strong. The included metal plate works well for letting the figure hold dynamic poses. I also really like that the figure was sent in a small box. I don't see the point of bulky product packaging. As others have mentioned, the feet are really hard to put together. I ultimately used a heating pad to warm up the pieces and then added a drop of water to the toe joints so that I could put it together one joint at a time. I have problems with my muscles and joints though, so it was extra difficult for me. It took me over an hour to put Stickybones together. In the end though, it looks fantastic. It's such an expressive figure, but in my opinion the face needed more definition. So, I gave it some eyes and extended the goatee using small pieces of electrical tape. I also plan to paint the hands with some yellow accents so that their shape is more visible. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase so much that I'm tempted to get another one in the glacier blue, and that's a rare experience. I usually like my figures to be completely unique from each other. Stickybones is just really great. I also want to say thank you to Lauren, the co-owner of Stickybones. She helped me sort out an issue I had with a coupon code and was so helpful and understanding of my situation. I can really tell that they care about their customers.

This figure is AMAZING i love how the plastic feels smooth and I love the magnets. I animate on a metal table and I constantly bump into the figure when I’m animating which causes the figure to fall or loos their position, but not with stickybones the figure is tight enough to keep a pose but loose enough so it’s not like you’re fighting with the figure. I absolutely recommend this to anyone and the poses you can get with this guy are insane

Fantastic! All previous ball and socket figures I’ve previously owned have gotten loosened within a few months, this thing is still good as new! Even with my tendency to fiddle with it by taking it apart and putting it together in crazy ways, it’s still super sturdy! I think the reason for this is because the ball part of the ball and socket is coated in a more rubbery plastic, which increases friction, but decreases wear and tear!
