Waiting to gift it for Christmas. But I couldn't wait so I opened it and checked it out. I was a little worried that it would be cheaply 3D printed. It is quality build high impact plastic. It will do what it's advertised to. I'm excited to gift it.

My daughter made this for her 7th grade media project and she loves them!

Currently I'm a 3D Digital Animation student, so my stickybones are a great help to my learning process.

Quality and pose ability are fantastic! The magnets allow you to create more dynamic poses without having to worry about stability. The only complaint I have is a lack of props, which it isn't really a deal breaker. It's definitely a great tool for artists.

The figures themselves are great. Be aware that there are design concessions with the size of the hands and feet, which are bigger relative to the body in order to make the movable pieces a little more durable and able to be re-posed, or such is my understanding. I'm glad that they did--the pieces are still small, and my fingers are clumsy, but I got my two models set up with minimal fuss. The feet ball joints are pretty tough to connect, but they'll get a lot of movement, so I'm sure I'll be glad that they're stuck in there now. The magnets in the hands and feet are a very nice feature. Though they're meant to go with the metal pose plates that come with the item, I found that the plates were a little small (or awkward) for posting the two figures together sometimes, so I just use a flat plate of steel that can comfortably fit both of them. Still, definitely awesome to have for solo poses. Another thing was that the customer service was superb. When I placed my order, my shipment didn't get scanned in for the delivery truck, and when I contacted support a week later to ask if there was maybe some kind of stocking issue, the person who answered my ticket immediately sent out a replacement order even before contacting me, which was amazing. I checked the signature at some point and it was apparently one of the co-founders who did this too, so I'm happy to see that the folks in charge have a vested interest in giving their customers a great experience.

These are amazing! Great quality and feels great to pose. I would love if they made some props or attachment to the figures like swords, Guns.- things like that

Timely delivery. Very well constructed and sturdy. The packaging is nice and cool looking even if it doesn’t immediately identify what it is. The only real complaint I have is putting them together does a number on your hands.

The product is awesome and it really helps with pose to pose areas of drawing/animating and if you accidentally moved a work space area, the model doesn't move or wobble the design of the bones stays in place. Worth the money and a little heads up for buyer's, it comes into parts so you got to put it together, and it's a little hard to put on, and very recommended to watch the video it helps a lot.

I bought it after seeing a certain YouTuber make a stop motion animation using the product. It's a great help in making game animations, but it doesn't come with two fingertip parts! (When I first opened the envelope with the product, I found out there were 18 finger parts in total.) Still, I have no inconvenience using it. I'll make sure to use it well! I've used them a few poses and it's helped me get a better grasp of how to draw a mannequin. I'm still lacking some of the basics such as shapes, but I believe this has helped me foster a foundation. I recommend getting these, especially if you'd like to actually have a physical reference in hand as well to experiment and create your own poses. The price is a bit high imo, but I think this still a quality investment. Setting aside some change, birthday money, etc and you can pay for this easily. Make sure to remember having fun and that not every drawing or video make is going to be great, but at least you created something. Practice makes improvement.

These things are awesome! I got them for my son’s birthday, but the entire family had fun assembling them and trying out the infinite poses that are possible with the figures. Really strong and hyper adjustable, I can tell they were made to last and that the joints wont get loose any time soon. I'm not an animator, just a comic artist, but its very good for setting up nice, quick compositions without the usage of 3d models like I used to do. I ordered this while I was out of the country, and didn't realise it would get to delivering so soon so the people at stickybones offered to hold onto it for me until I got back. Hi , I purchased these as a gift for my son for Christmas so have been unable to write a review until he had used it and he absolutely loves them . Sadly the rig was broken on arrival and we didn’t know until my som opened it for Christmas ,and as a lot of time has gone by I didn’t know if I could contact you regarding it . Other than that I’m hoping that it sparks his imagination as he starts making some stop motion clips.

I've used the old wooden artists mannequins in the past and reference photos, but Stickybones far exceed those by a mile! Short of having my own stunt men on call, but in a lot of ways Stickybones are my stunt crew! I do my own comic book and sci-fi/fantasy art with action scenes so the Stickybones are perfect for this type of art. I'm very impressed with their construction, their ability to hold a pose, and durability. The metal plate is a great tool and the magnets are awesome. The fly rig is a good way to get different perspectives or action scenes. Pu5ing it all together was fairly easy but I recommend watching the video it was a big help. The fingers seem fragile but I've gotten used to adjusting them. Patience is key. Overall I highly recommend these items. Well worth the money and something I'll be using and enjoying for years to come.

Make no bones about it: I was on the fence about buying these. But after I saw some notes on their durability, I scooped them up during a sale. I was originally going to have 3d printed mannequins instead, but these have the quality and durability that not even a resin print can match. 1:9 scale is the perfect size too. Easy to pose, and worth the money! (Also learned there are TWO Brentwoods in California. These dudes come from up north!)

My Stickybones figures really help aid in my mood and thoughtfulness about toy photography. I tend to overthink how I want to stage a scene or pose a figure and most of them can be difficult to pose on the spot. The Stickybones figures are bigger than my 1/12 size collection but they offer plenty of flexibility and are forgiving when pushed a bit further. These are definitely fun tools to build muscle memory to pose and compose for photo/video creatives and especially action figure collectors.

Love these models! So much fun and so much room for artistic possibilities. I also really loved the thank you note with the handwritten heart and smiley face. It’s a small thing, but it was really sweet.

I spent about a month deliberating back and forth on whether or not I was willing to give this product a shot. If it worked as advertised it would be well worth the money but if it didn’t…well that’s a big asking price. I saw ads for them on instagram which made me immediately assume the product wouldn’t be anything like advertised as everything I’ve ever bought comes from china and barely works if at all. So I was pleasantly surprised (and very relieved) when I finally decided to commit (after going through as many reviews as I possibly could) that they did work just as advertised! They really are insanely posable and just as important, they will HOLD the pose you put them in. I left one of these in a backward fall position magnetized by one foot overnight and was very happy to come back and see it In exactly the same position as I left it. The only issue I’ve had is the foot is rather hard to put together I think it would have been better with one ball/socket instead of two and the plate, while perfectly sized for one, makes it difficult to use both in more complex positions Overall, I am very happy with my purchase :D

I’ve been obsessed with these figures forever and they did not disappoint! It was really easy to put together and he joints were stiff and held the position perfectly, it was just what I was looking for for a reference for drawing and I will never even look at those crappy wooden dolls again! This is fantastic and so worth the money. The way the doll is built is absolute genius, it can help an artist grasp the idea of proportions and perspective and make your art not look so flat. Side note: the fingers are delicate! I was rough with the hand positioning and lost a finger (found it)b The feet were the hardest to put together, but other than that this was so much fun to put together.
