I cant believe how posable these sticky bones figurines are, they are must have drawing aid for getting those tricky poses from your imagination onto the paper.

(Part of this is repeated from my review for the bifrost figure)
I am in my 4th year of college, majoring in Illustration. I am specifically studying to go into visual development/concept art. I have a very traditional art background, so while I can draw figures from live models and photos, I can’t do it well from my imagination. Searching for reference online and taking reference of myself takes a lot of time and limits the poses, lighting, and angles I’m able to get.
I wish I had bought these years ago. I’ve used them for two days and they have made my ideation process so much more efficient and enjoyable. I can create a pose I have an idea for, then adjust and rotate the model till I get the clearest and most interesting silhouette in a fraction of the time it’d take me to draw a bad and inaccurate version of that pose from my head. Then I can actually explore a character’s design instead of fighting to get a pose right.
The hand packs give me more information to draw from, although so far the hands they come with have been very informative and malleable to what I’ve needed them to do. I was drawing a character who was stumbling back against a counter with a kitchen knife in her hand, so I used a big saftey pin to see the perspective as well as the hand position. It stays in the hand since the palm is magnetized. The rig is going to be very useful when putting characters in flight, falling, or fighting. This is a huge advantage against taking reference of myself due to the infinite camera angles I can now get, and the complete freedom of the rig negating issues of gravity when choosing a pose.

First model we've bought and it's clearly the right decision. Even my 3 and 5 year olds enjoy them (supervised of course). I'm having such a good time posing them I haven't even tried using them as a model!
