Join our month-long posing challenge for a chance to win $200 Stickybones store credit each week — and get inspired by a creative, supportive community along the way.

✅ How to Participate:

  1. Check out the weekly prompts below.

  2. Create 5 poses each week using your Stickybones figure.

  3. Post your poses on Instagram.

  4. Tag @stickybones.pose and use the hashtag #poseapalooza2025 on each post.

  5. Complete all 5 poses by the weekly deadline to qualify for that week’s prize.

 🎓 Meet the Judges:

Each week, a different guest judge will take the reins:

Week 1 – Amanda Wagner Directing Animator on Inside Out 2, Amanda supervised the character Anxiety and brings years of experience from Pixar (Coco, Toy Story 5), Walt Disney (Zootopia, Moana), Blue Sky (Epic, Rio 2), and more. 

 

Week 2 – Alex Kamer Director at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and lead instructor of their stop-motion animation program — with Stickybones as the official armature partner. Alex has directed on Robot Chicken, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., SuperMansion, Lego Masters, and more.

 

Week 3 – Raymond Ross (aka Rayro) Lead Animator at Epic Games on Fortnite. Former Blue Sky character lead on Scrat (Ice Age: Scrat Tales) and Blu (Rio 2). His credits include Ice Age, Spies in Disguise, The Peanuts Movie, and Encanto.

 

Week 4 – Thiago Calçado Award-winning stop-motion animator known for Pinocchio, Missing Link, Kubo, Box Trolls, and ParaNorman. He now teaches and shares Stickybones in workshops throughout Argentina and Brazil.

 

🙋 FAQ

Do I need to have a Stickybones figure to participate in the challenge? Yes. The human figure(s) used in Pose-a-Palooza must be Stickybones.

Do I need to post my poses on Instagram? Yes. That’s where the challenge happens!

What if I miss a day of the challenge? If you post all 5 prompts by the end of the week, you’re still eligible for the weekly prize.

Can I use other materials with Stickybones? Yes! Props, costumes, and backgrounds are welcome.

Do the prompts have to be done in order? Nope! As long as you complete all 5 that week, you're good.

Can I use more than one Stickybones figure? Yes. 

Can I just do one prompt per week? You must complete all 5 to be eligible for prizes.

How are winners chosen? Each week’s winner is selected by an esteemed guest judge based on:

  • Overall Pose (40%): Appeal, clarity, emotion, spirit of the prompt.

  • Overall Image Appeal (60%): Composition, staging, creativity, and execution.

When will winners be announced? At the end of each week on Instagram.

Can I participate if I’m not a professional artist or animator? Absolutely. Pose-a-Palooza is open to all! 

Can I share my poses elsewhere too? Of course! But remember: only Instagram posts count toward prizes.
